I start with this quote because Rene Furterer is one of the pioneers in hair loss & scalp care. We chose them for our scalp treatments because they are the experts when it comes to hair loss, scalp care and organic haircare. His original philosophy was built around a healthy scalp and beautiful hair which he implemented in his first salon in Paris in 1957. Since then, his three phase method "Prepare, Cleanse, and Treat", has evolved and multiple rituals for many scalp & hair care concerns have been created. For this blog post we will be specifically focusing on scalp care issues resulting in hair loss.
Did you know that in 2021 there was a 34% increase of research into "hair loss"?
Its become quite apparent that more and more people are experiencing hair loss. The main form of hair loss that we see is stress induced, this is called Reactional Hair Loss. We do diagnose and treat 2 kinds of hair loss with Rene Furterer, the other form is called Progressive Hair Loss. Here is some background information on this but first I will start by showing you the phases of every hair follicle on our head!
REACTIONAL HAIR LOSS
This is the sudden onset of hair loss, it happens when our hair enters into the Telogen phase abrupt and prematurely (30% of hair on average). Did you know that when your body goes through a stress it takes up to 3 months to see that hair shed? Start a treatment before you see the hair shed so you can trigger that new hair growth right away!

We also recommend a pre shampoo to deeply cleanse the scalp and boost penetration of the key ingredients in subsequent treatments. Its highly concentrated in orange and lavender essential oils and smells lovely! The use of COMPLEXE 5 multiplies by up to 10x the efficiency of the hair loss treatment. Even if you are not doing a hair loss treatment, this is amazing to use on a weekly basis to boost shine, thickness and overall scalp and strand health. Use once or twice a week, apply on the scalp before shampoo and leave in for 5 to 10 minutes.
