General Sales Conditions

These general sales conditions govern the rights and obligations of all parties for sales carried out on this online store. They govern all the steps necessary for order placement and follow up. All orders and purchases carried out on this website are subject to the terms and conditions clearly stated on this website.

These conditions apply only to natural persons, 18 years of age and older. You can save or print out these general sales conditions. By visiting this website, you acknowledge and agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa reserves the right to adapt or modify, at any time, the present general sales conditions. We invite you to visit these pages from time to time to consult the legally binding conditions currently in effect.

In the event of modifications, the general sales conditions in effect on the day an order was placed will apply. In the event of a dispute regarding the legitimacy of an order or the terms of the transaction, Goulart Salon & Medi Spa  will rely on computer records as proof to be used between parties.

Responsibility

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa retains ownership of the products ordered until the complete and full payment of the order. Once the order has been shipped to the customer, the latter becomes responsible for the purchase.

Price & Quantity

Products, services, packages and memberships prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide you with the most accurate information possible. However, for various reasons, additional fees may apply.

Discounts stipulated on certain items are valid while supplies last. Please note that we process all orders on a “first-come, first-served basis.”

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Please note that taxes and handling/shipping fees will apply to the price shown for each product.

The presentation of products, services, at any given time, does not imply or guarantee that these will be available at all times.

Limitation

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa (online store) cannot guarantee that its services will operate without interruption or malfunction. Whenever possible, we will notify you of any upcoming/planned maintenance or website updates to minimize navigation difficulties. However, we are not responsible for the non-functioning of operational services or for temporary inability to access our website.

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa  is not liable for the improper functioning of our online store caused by external factors: accessing our website using incompatible equipment, internal problems caused by service providers, or slow speeds due to heavy online traffic, among others.

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa also relieves itself from any and all liability caused by indirect damage stemming from viruses, piracy, loss of general data or registration data that a customer may have provided on our online store.

We assume responsibility for verifying and complying with all applicable laws governing the use of our online store, whether local, provincial, federal or international. We enforce the minimum age requirement of 18 years and older for all purchases made on our online store.

Shipping delays caused by shipping/courier/delivery companies do not entitle the customer to claim damages.

In all cases where products returned are found to be opened, used, incomplete, damaged or dirtied by the customer, or which are received outside the maximum seven days following issuance of a return number, the latter will not be accepted for return or exchange. No exceptions will be made.

In the event of a problem with our online store or any of its content, you accept that your sole remedy is to stop using this website.

Goulart Salon & Media Spa is the sole recipient of your personal information.

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa may transmit your personal information to a third party strictly to provide you with the service requested, or when we are required to do so by a judicial or other administrative authority.

Regarding the technical management for storing your personal information, your information is consolidated on central servers managed by our service provider located in Canada.

Goulart Salon & Media Spa makes every effort to implement all the necessary precautions to safeguard the privacy and security of the personal information we process, to prevent such information from being modified, damaged or destroyed, and to protect it against unauthorized access by third parties. However, Goulart Salon & Media Spa cannot control all risks related to online activities and the Internet in general.

Payment Methods

Final order validation takes effect after payment validation. It is very important for us that, when you enter your personal information during order placement, you pay special attention to the information provided.

By confirming your purchase, you are bound to the purchase and to the accuracy of the address information provided on your shipping label. Please ensure the accuracy of your email address and billing/shipping address (e.g. apartment number, mailbox, and telephone number). Goulart Salon & Medi Spa is not responsible for errors made by the customer, for delays in delivery, or for the unfeasibility of delivering the products ordered based on such errors.

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Goulart Salon & Media Spa reserves the right to modify these prices in the event of an increase in fees.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

For all products selected and placed in your online shopping cart, please note that Goulart Salon & Medi Spa will charge a shipping fee whose amount will be specified on the order form before order confirmation.

Under Canadian law, your purchases will be taxed based on your shipping address.

The goods described in the sales document remain the property of Goulart Salon & Medi Spa until payment is made in full.

The current accepted method of payment is by credit card: Visa, MasterCard and American Express, which are processed using secure Stripe service. Final order confirmation takes place after payment validation.

  • Goulart Salon & Media Spa reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of payment authorization refusal or credit card verification refusal by officially accredited bodies. This stipulation is also upheld if Goulart Salon & Media Spa suspects fraudulent practices. Such cases will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Once this step has been completed, we will email you a purchase confirmation (acknowledgment of receipt) including a summary of the items ordered and the shipping/billing address.

Shipping policy

Delivery times for a product held in our inventory vary from 2 to 10 business days following the date of the first confirmation notice sent to the customer. In the event that any portion of your order or your entire order is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you to verify whether the order should be cancelled (including a full refund of the total amount) or simply postponed. We are committed to complete customer satisfaction and will make every effort to make sure your needs are met.


If you change your mind about an order, we cannot, unfortunately, allow you to cancel or exercise

your right to withdraw if :

  • Immediately inform the delivery person before signing the delivery slip

  • Ask the delivery person to record the damage on the delivery slip before signing it (for example: “Broken Package”, “Opened Package”, “Damaged Package”, etc.)

  • Ask the delivery person to open the package to see if any products are missing or damaged

Each refund request must be assessed by our customer service department on a case-by-case basis.

Any potential shipping delays attributable to shipping companies do not give the customer the right to claim damages and interest. If one or more of the products is missing, defective or damaged, you must inform the shipping company at the time of delivery. If the item is deemed missing, contact our customer service department with your online order number and product references or a description of the missing item listed on your invoice within 5 days of accepting the delivery. Strikes, accidents, theft, exhausted inventory and fires are considered force majeure and will release Goulart Salon & Medi Spa from its obligation to deliver.

 

REDUCE THE RISK OF ERROR!

We recommend that you retain your order confirmation number so that you can refer to it at the time of delivery. This will allow you to validate if the number of packages received corresponds to the number of packages specified on the shipper’s delivery slip.

PROOF OF IDENTITY AND/OR REQUIRED SIGNATURE 

Packages over $500 will require a signature upon reception with a valid ID to prove identity.

SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES

Shipping/delivery applies to Canada only.
The applicable shipping fee is based on weight of your order and covers the entire Canadian territory.

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa reserves the right to charge an additional fee for any remote destination that may incur a higher than normal shipping fee. If a higher shipping fee is applicable, we will contact you.

We primarily use Canada Post and Shippie to ship our products. Delivery times are from 5 to 10 days.

ORDER TREATMENT

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa is committed to processing each order in a personalized manner and to fulfilling each order as quickly as possible. Our online store is operational at all times, Tuesday to Friday, except on the following statutory holidays:

  • January 1 and 2

  • ON Family Day (3rd Monday of February)

  • Good Friday (Friday preceding Easter Sunday)

  • Victoria Day (Last Monday preceding May 25th)

  • Canada Day (July 1)

  • Labour Day (1st Monday in September)

  • Thanksgiving (Second Monday in October)

  • Remembrance Day (November 11th)

  • Christmas Day (December 25)


For all orders, delivery (shipping) takes place on working days, i.e., Tuesday to Friday, excluding Saturday and Sunday. When processing your order, the Goulart Salon & Medi Spa sales team may need to contact you by email. It is your responsibility to pay close attention to and verify any emails you receive. They may contain important information about your order. Additionally, and for various other order-related reasons, a member of the Goulart Salon & Medi Spa sales team may also need to contact you sooner by telephone.

DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING

At the time of delivery, if your package seems damaged :

  • Immediately inform the delivery person before signing the delivery slip

  • Ask the delivery person to record the damage on the delivery slip before signing it (for example: “Broken Package”, “Opened Package”, “Damaged Package”, etc.)

  • Ask the delivery person to open the package to see if any products are missing or damaged

 

ABSENT DURING DELIVERY

If you are absent during delivery, Canada Post will leave a delivery notice card. This card will inform you of the missed delivery date and list the nearest pickup location to your shipping address. Canada Post offers a package hold service for 15 days after the date indicated on your delivery notice card.

Shippie will leave package without signature, unless your order requires as signature.

 

MISSING ITEMS

If you discover that a product(s) is missing after delivery of your package has taken place, please contact us at info@salongoulart.com within 5 days of delivery, specifying:

  • Your online order number

  • Item references or a description of the missing products listed on your invoice 

 

SAMPLING

We will add 2 samples to each order. Note that these samples are based on availability and can be from different brands we carry. Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill and guarantee any specific sample request. Thank you for your understanding.

Refund Policy

Did something go wrong with your order? Did you order or receive the wrong products by mistake?  Don't worry, we got your back. Be sure to contact us within 72h of receiving your order so we can address these issues promptly.

Be aware that any returned product must be unopened and undamaged for a full refund. Please contact us by email at info@salongoulart.com or by phone at +1.416.319.4839 for the next steps of the return procedures.

If you are experiencing an usual skin reaction following the use of the products, we ask that you contact us immediately so we can discuss what might be causing the irritation and offer solutions. 

 

We are unable to take any nail products and opened tools, devises, and accessories items.

All sale items are FINAL SALE.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

 

Please be advised that we have a no refund policy on all service and product sales. 

Exchange for all services can be granted under manager’s discretion.

If a client purchases services but wishes to cancel before starting the treatments after 14 days since purchase date, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the services will apply. The remaining 90% will be refunded to the client within 7 business days of the cancellation request.

 

Please note there is an appointment cancellation/no-show policy in effect. 

We require 48-Hour notice for cancellation or to re-schedule. Should you miss your appointment or not inform us with the designated time you will lose your pre-purchased treatment and be charged a cancellation fee. 

-In case of cancellation/rebooking request in less then 48 hours the fee of 50% of the services booked is applied to your account.

-Should you miss your appointment and fail to inform us within required time there will be a charge of 100% of services booked.

 

Gift Card Terms and Conditions:

 

Goulart Salon & Medi Spa does not replace lost or stolen cards. 

Please note that all gift card sales are final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges for purchased gift cards. 

Gift Cards hold no expiration date for their original value; however, any promotional value or added benefits associated with certain gift card may have an expiration date as specified during the promotional period.

 

Fully non-refundable deposit policy.

A non-refundable deposit amounting to 50% of the total service cost will be required when booking your appointment. This deposit will be applied towards the final bill on the day of your appointment.  

Reschedule of appointment before 48 hours is allowed without any penalty. 

Late cancellations or no-shows result in 100% deposit forfeit.

 

3 Year Unlimited* Laser Hair Removal Terms And Conditions:

Promotional value expires 3 years after first redemption or after 16 sessions have been used. (Whichever Comes First) *Some exceptions may apply

 

6 Months Unlimited* Memberships

Promotional value expires 6 months after first redemption. Services subject to change at any time. There are no guarantees, warranties, or assurances. Memberships may not be transferred to family members or friends. Memberships maybe exchanged for any regular price services or products before redemption.  

 

Treatments and packages expire 12 months from date of purchase.
